Broken Finger

So this week was crazy.  Thursday I slammed my finger in our bath room door and broke it. Also Elder Scullin is getting transferred tomorrow and I am getting a new companion. I will spend my last 6 weeks here in Vanderbilt. It is crazy.
We have been tracking a lot. Tuesday we prayed to know where we needed to be and we were led to a very small road with a bunch of rich houses with gates. We walked down it and one gate opened and a nice lady and her son came out. We told her we were sent to her road by God and she started crying. She was feeling low and wanted a fresh start. It was so amazing. I love this work.

Everglades

Dear family and friends,
This last week we went to the Everglades it was sweet. I got to hold a snake adn Gators  and stuff. It was cool. This week was awesome. We have
been in contact with a kid named Jack. Every time we had a lesson planed he got called in to work. He really wants to meet with us but
he keeps getting pulled into things. But I hope and pray we will get to meet up soon. I will not give up. Also this week we drove to Fort
Myers for Elder pPnrods doctors appointment. Then we drove to Tampa at 3am to get to my doctors appointment at 8.00. It has been crazy. We had our mission Christmas party on Bradenton beach it was fun. Mission life is great. Oh ya Elder Settle and Penrod got transferred they will be leaving Thursday. I have been here for 3 weeks, so let's see how this will go :) love you all. Time is ticking.

Dear family and friends,

This week has been crazy. A lot has happened. So for starters, Friday the young single adult sister missionary's found a rough looking man and invited him to take a church tour. They asked us to come on the tour wit them. During the tour he committed to baptism and the sister told us we will be teaching him. Then Saturday we taught him the first lesson. He seemed to understand everything. He really wants to get married to his girlfriend so we will get that taken care of soon. It was so awesome.
Then on Thursday Elder Leavitt and I were trying to figure out what to do at 7:30 at night. So we went to the office to do some office work. Then I got a prompting that we should leave and walk around the block. So we left and we found 3 potential investigators. This area is so great and the work is progressing so well. I don't have much time left but I am working as hard as I can to finish strong. I love you all.

Ponchos and Ferrys

 Well this last week it was raining crazy crazy and a member friend of ours was taking us to dinner for her birthday on an island on the gulf called Rum Bay. But it was her and her mom, then me and my comp. so we got to sit in the back of the truck with ponchos on with towls to sit on while we drove.
(we aren't aloud to be in a car with no male present) So we got to the dock to get on the boat to ride over, but our captain didn't show up. So they gave us a free ferry ride with the whole car. It was a really cool ride. After that we drove on this island with huge houses on it bigger than my house and we got some really good food. It was really great. Also they took our car so we are on full bike now my thighs are sore. This is a great church. It is the true church and the work here is amazing.

ok so the last little while we got a new mission president from Provo. He is very cool but still awkward haha. I got a new companion. His name is Elder Bennion. He's little but he's cool. Transfers are coming up. We had a 6 week one already and this one is 4 weeks, so I may be leaving Haines City soon. Who knows. We have been teaching very many Haitians. I really wish I knew what they were saying. Also i have an old Asian man that loves me. His name is King Chew. hahaha He won't listen to anyone else but "Elder Wing" it's funny. I love you guys. Hope all is well.

Flippin Hot and Raining

well lately it has been pretty flippin hot and raining. we are teaching 3 people one is an Asian man from Spain named king he love me haha. hes feel like the bible doesn't have all the truth and hopfully we do :) next is our friend sandy. she had missionarys back in the 90 in new york :) she wants to get baptized but we need to get her married  to her sons dad or move out. but she cant move out so eAsy so ya. then we have phyllis and her kids she said sunday in front of every one " im going to become a member and so are my kids" then winked at us. made us surprized :) it has been goood

Car Wreck

Brad had a bit of bad luck and wrecked the mission car. Thankfully no one was hurt. Here is his latest 1-line update :)

"well that latest things we had a baptism of a really nice old lady . i got bit by a 3 legged pit bull and my car is totaled haha so much fun"
